This group exhibition celebrates 12 years of Taiwanese engagement with the Glenfiddich artist residency programme. The symbolic significance of the 12 years of Scottish-Taiwanese creative partnership in this exhibition is linked to the 12 years it takes for Jupiter to orbit the sun, and, more importantly, the minimum 12 years whisky must be aged to peak maturity. The Springs Eternal exhibition highlights the artist’s experience at Glenfiddich on an astrological level of long-term cross-cultural creative collaboration, and a micro level of whisky ageing in its barrel, speaking to the ripening artistic success of the program and profound impact on individual participating artists.
