The Of Other Spaces Closing Performance Event, held on 4 March 2017 at Dundee’s Cooper Gallery, concluded a two-part exhibition exploring feminist art practices.

The event featured live performances by Anne Bean, He Chengyao, and Siôn Parkinson with the Rhubaba Choir. Bean’s piece revisited her feminist dialogues from the 1970s, incorporating her band Moody and the Menstruators. Parkinson and the choir presented Blind Love Bad Taste, evoking a multispecies creature through collective voice. He Chengyao performed a four-hour durational work confronting social stigmas.

The program also included film screenings by Rose English and Monica Ross, and a collective reading by Annabel Nicolson, embodying feminist collaboration and resistance.
